• Emerald Pool (Crystal Pool) – A picture perfect spring fed pool of water that is always clean and replenished. This tour includes Blue Pool if the time of year is OK for going there.

• Waterfalls – Huay Toh Waterfall is 8 levels high and surrounded by the jungle of a beautiful national park. Spend a morning and see birds, butterflies, and soak in the cool mountain stream.

• Night Markets in Town and Ao Nang – Krabi is known for it’s great night markets, if in Ao Nang, hit Landmark! If in town, you must go to Walking Street.

Sports and Active Things to do in Krabi

• Biking Tours – Mountain bike around Krabi Town, the beach area, or find some dirt trails around the beach and mountains that will inspire you to push yourself to get some exercise.
• Caves – Krabi has a number of interesting caves where you can see wildlife inside, as well as stunning open areas with lots of stalagtites and stalagmites. Kow Phung Cave is the biggest cave we can see during the rainy season.
• Exercise (hikes, Thara Park, swimming, running, biking) – There are many places you can go to exercise while on vacation in Krabi or at the Ao Nang beaches. Keep in mind, it’s HOT and humid here! Go easy.
• Hiking | Hiking Field Trips. Dragon’s Crest trail climb (Mountain hiking, free guide).
• Kayaking Adventures
• Krabi Golf – Krabi does have a full golf course that many people play at. It’s not world class, but it is enough for a lot of non-professionals.
• Rock Climbing at Railay/Tonsai Beach – World class climbing routes all the way down to climbs appropriate for beginners. You can’t beat Tonsai Beach climbing!
• 5 Best Running Spots (Thara Park long run, Thara Park Running, Snake on Trail story. Our favorite trail running spot is Dragon’s Peak, Ngorn Nak Mountain. It’s a short climb and run down, but it will challenge anyone who does it!
• SCUBA Diving and Snorkeling
• Thara Park – Basketball, football, exercise machines, track, trail, and river scene with birds and mud skippers. A great place to go after 4 pm. as the sun is going down.

Buddhist Cultural Things to Do

• Buddhist Temples | Top 10 Krabi Temples – Wat Tham Seua, White Temple, Diamond Cave Temple… Krabi has a couple of really amazing temples to see. You can climb to a viewpoint at Wat Tham Seua – highly recommended if you’re fit.

• Songkran! – Every April 13th you can throw water for 3 days in Krabi at Ao Nang Beach with tens of thousands of other partiers.
• Temples – Krabi’s 10 Best!
• Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Seua) – a mountaintop Buddhist temple with one of the best views in Krabi. Don’t miss this if you are fit enough to climb 1,256 steps in the heat.

Krabi Accommodations

• Forest Homestay! – There’s a lovely wilderness bungalow resort at Khao Phanom mountain chain on the other side of the Huay Toh Waterfall. You can stay and soak in the sounds of nature. Lots of wildlife to see.
