Some photos of various spiders and scorpions found during our field trips. If there is one thing we can count on seeing a lot of – it’s spiders. Now we know where to find a lot of different species. If you’re a spider expert and you want to see what Thailand has to offer, we can help you find the spiders of your dreams.

Tarantulas, Wolf Spiders, Huntsman Spiders, Orb Weavers, Trap Door Spiders (sometimes)

Keep in mind that none of these are very dangerous. Nobody has been bitten on a night walk. Spiders in Krabi are mostly just amazing creatures to look at and shoot photos and videos of.

This first green one is the most beautiful spider I’ve ever seen. Enjoy!

This spider, we found last night – it was mind blowing. It’s the OGRE SPIDER. They make a little net of web and thrust it over the prey they catch in it. It’s bizarre!

A small brown scorpion sting hurts more than the large Asian forest scorpion stings. — This small (3″) brown scorpion hurts more than the big Asian Forest Scorpions you may have seen!

WE can find the Cobalt Blue Tarantulas and the Golden Fringe Tarantulas. If you want to focus on finding these big tarantulas, let us know.*
