If you’re looking for something to do in Krabi in the morning between 8 to Noon, why not go on our Butterfly Tour? This is our newest tour. It’s only 1 hour. 2 hours if you insist. We went this morning and saw more than 30 species of butterflies flying around the rainforest!
This is our cheapest and shortest tour. It’s GREAT FOR KIDS or anyone who wants to get some really nice photos. Here are some of the butterflies we see on this Krabi morning tour.

Krabi BUTTERFLY TOUR through the Rainforest
- ANY DAY. (Reserve your space as soon as you book your rooms!)
- 1-2 HOURS available. You choose. Cost is cheap! 1,000 THB 1 person for 1 hour, 500 THB per person for 1 hour (2 or more people). Double the cost for 2 hours.
- KIDS OK – ANY AGE. Children under 12 – FREE.
- NOT TOO DIFFICULT! (If you can walk around for 1-2 hours, you are fit enough. We do go up and down some small hills, but we bring cold water for you and go at your pace.
- PRICES NOW – Super discount for low season – 1 HOUR – 1,000 THB for 1-2 people (total), 1,500 for 3 ppl, 2,000 for 4 ppl.
What Can You See on a BUTTERFLY TOUR?
Of course you can see MANY SPECIES OF THAILAND BUTTERFLIES. We have more than 30 species found in just this one spot. They are there everyday if not raining, so BOOK YOUR VISIT with us now.
Other Animals Found
BUTTERFLIES are all over, that’s a given. Other animals we can find on a 2 hour tour include BIRDS, Lizards and Gliding Lizards, Tarantula and Orb Weaver Spiders, Skinks, Squirrels, We sometimes see PREYING MANTIS and other cool insects. We can also focus on snakes – we sometimes see them if we look hard!
The NIGHT SAFARI is EVEN MORE FUN!
It has some different animals. We usually see MORE SNAKES, BATS, CENTIPEDES, BEETLES, SLOW LORISES, COLUGOS, HOG BADGERS, OWLS, FROGS, TOADS, STICK INSECTS, MOTHS, NIGHT JARS, GECKOS, and MANY SPIDERS of all kind – including the TARANTULAS. See a Night Safari TRIP REPORT here.

ON A BUTTERFLY SAFARI – BRING:
- HAT! Bring a hat, as big as you can stand to keep the heat off your head, face, and neck. It really helps.
- SHOES – any kind, sport sandals OK, flip-flops won’t be that comfortable.
- RAINCOAT or PONCHO – we get some rain during the days that moves in quickly and disappears. We often have a poncho you can purchase if it rains (cheap).
- JUICE to drink – bring your favorite beverage to drink on the walk. We will provide water, but you may want something with some calories.
- CAMERA! – Half of the fun is walking around stalking butterflies until they land and give you a chance at a great photo. A camera with a 200mm or longer lens can really help you get some photos. Some people use the iPhone and they’re happy with that. UP TO YOU!

SAFETY RECORD:
For over 17 years we have had no injuries due to falling, exertion, or bites by any animals. We walk on well-defined paths. We are cautious about where we’re stepping.
