Located in Ao Nang not far from the McDonald’s and Starbucks restaurants is an amazing place for good thin-crust authentic Italian pizza – Spaghetti House!
The owner moved here from Italy and has been making great pizza for a few years – at least four, as best I can remember. This is one of the two best pizza places I’ve been to in Ao Nang, and I eat pizza every chance I get. I have never been served a bad meal here, and I highly recommend it!
ITALIAN AND THAI FOOD
I usually meet friends or online acquaintances here for pizza and a beer at lunch. I have always had the Italian food – pizza and bruschetta mostly, since the owner is from Italy, and I love Italian food. Friends have ordered salads, and also been very happy with the quality of food.
RESTAURANT ATMOSPHERE
This is on the main Ao Nang, Krabi drag, but there isn’t as much foot traffic in front of the restaurant as there is right on the beach. That said, it’s still fun to people watch here at night from the restaurant. The seating is up off the sidewalk by a couple of meters. There is no Thai food served here.
PRICES
Prices are reasonable enough, I cannot recall exactly what the price is for a pizza, but it is only around 180 THB. The pizza is super thin crust and crunchy. There is lots of cheese – and the flavor is nice.
WATER
Safe to drink all bottled water in Thailand. The ice is always bought from a clean supplier.
RATINGS
Ratings are very high for this Italian restaurant. You can be sure the food is fresh, good, and the service is great.
LOCATION
Ao Nang Beach Road just up the hill from Starbuck’s Coffee on the same side of the road.
