What Is the Weather like in Krabi in February?
AWESOME. In a word, that’s it. It’s really nice.
In the 17 years we’ve lived here there has not been a bad February, so if you book your vacation for anytime during the month of February, you can be sure you will have chosen one of the best months of the year for weather in the province.
Always sunny and calm. Very blue skies. Sometimes the weather is already getting warm because the clouds don’t block the sun much, and there are no cool breezes coming from the rain falling close by. February is usually one of the most amazing months, but occasionally there are some very warm days – hot days – that can be hard to deal with. Better to swim, snorkel, dive, or go to the Crystal Pool (Emerald Pool) on those days.
Does it Rain in February in Krabi?
Only on rare occasion do we experience any rain in Krabi in the month of February. Almost always there is no rain during the month. If we do have it, there will only be 1-4 days of rain and then back to sunshine and drier air.
Is Lightning a Problem?
No, even if we have some rain showers, there won’t be any lightning during February. I don’t remember ever having any in the last almost twenty years of living here.
Is Flooding a Problem in Krabi in February?
No, not at all. With so few rainy days, we never have flooding in February. However, we had our biggest flooding during March – so, it’s just around the corner if you look at it that way!
What Is the Sky Like in Krabi in February?
The sky in February in Krabi is stunning. The air is at it’s clearest and cleanest and the sky is brilliant blue with billowing bright white – hurts your eyes – clouds! January and February have the most perfect skies in Krabi and most of Thailand.
How’s the Humidity in February?
Beginning around December we usually get a significant drop in humidity. This lasts until around early March when the humidity returns with the change in direction of our weather. When the weather comes from China, it’s drier air. When from the sea, it’s quite a bit more humid.
Is February a Good Month to Visit Krabi?
If you had to pick a month to come to Krabi, the best month would be FEBRUARY! The weather is perfect – including no rain, low humidity, clear air and skies, and no mosquitos.
If you can arrange it, plan your trip to Krabi for February and you’ll have a better time than during other months!
