Krabi Night Safari Virtual Tour – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Krabi Night Safari Virtual Tour app handles information when you use it. The app is provided by Krabi Nature and is intended to support a real-world wildlife walk in Krabi, Thailand.

What the app does

Uses GPS to detect which tour zone you are in, so it can play the correct audio guidance
Shows an offline photo gallery of commonly seen wildlife
Includes an Emergency button to contact our staff if needed

Information we collect

Location data

The app uses your device’s location while the tour is running to determine which zone you are in. This location processing happens on your device for zone matching.

Emergency alerts

If you press the Emergency button, the app may send the following information to our staff so we can respond:

Your current GPS coordinates
The time of the alert
Basic device/network info needed for delivery (standard email/web request metadata)

What we do not collect

No user accounts
No names except user name on whatsapp account, profiles, or contact lists
No advertising IDs
No tracking across apps or websites
No analytics SDKs

How we use information

To operate the tour features (zone-triggered audio)
To respond to Emergency alerts
To troubleshoot issues if you contact us for support

Data retention

Emergency alerts are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up. We do not maintain any long-term user histories in the app.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Emergency alert information is shared only with Krabi Nature staff or helpers involved in responding to the situation.

Your choices

You can disable Location Services for the app in iOS Settings, but the tour zones will not work
You can choose not to use the Emergency button
